Ingredients
Instructions
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to an 1/8-inch-thick circle. Transfer to a 9-inch pie plate. Trim to 1/2 inch beyond rim of plate, and flute the edge. Refrigerate the crust for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Sprinkle the cheese over the crust. Top with up to 2 cups of cooked mix-ins. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the filling.
Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Let the quiche stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Editor's Tip: Avoid overbaking the quiche. It should still be slightly wobbly in the center when you remove it from the oven. And don't forget to let it sit after baking. You want the quiche to set up properly before slicing it.
