If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk garlic, oil, lime juice, honey, soy sauce, and chili sauce. Reserve 1/4 cup marinade. Add shrimp to remaining marinade and toss to combine.
Prepare a grill for medium-high heat; heat 5 minutes (or heat a grill pan over medium-high heat). Thread shrimp onto skewers.
Grill shrimp, turning occasionally and brushing with marinade before and after each turn, until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes per side.
Transfer shrimp to a platter. Top with cilantro. Serve with lime wedges alongside.
