Boil pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large pot, heat butter and oil. Cook onions and bell pepper until softened. Add garlic, Cajun seasoning, basil, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3 minutes.
Add cubed chicken to the pot and cook until thoroughly cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
Add Parmesan, heavy cream, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until the sauce thickens and cream cheese melts, about 8-10 minutes.
Add cooked pasta to the sauce, stir to coat, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
