Meatball subs are a classic, hearty sandwich made with juicy, flavorful meatballs, tangy marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese, all packed into a soft, toasted sub roll.

Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until just combined.
Form the mixture into 12-14 meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
While the meatballs bake, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Slice the sub rolls and toast them in the oven for 3–5 minutes until golden.
Once the meatballs are baked, transfer them into the marinara sauce and simmer for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.
Place 3–4 meatballs in each toasted roll, spoon some marinara sauce over them, and top with mozzarella cheese.
Place the subs back in the oven for 5–7 minutes or under a broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve immediately.
