This easy, cheesy taco casserole recipe has all the best things about taco Tuesday in one baking dish: seasoned ground beef, tortilla chips and cheese.

Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large saucepan, cook the beef over medium heat until it's no longer pink. Remove the pan from the heat and drain any liquid. Then, add the salsa, mayonnaise and chili powder to the meat and mix together. Editor's Tip: Don't rinse the ground beef. Instead, pour most of the grease into a heat-proof container.
In an ungreased 2-quart baking dish, layer half the meat mixture, then half the chips and half the cheeses. Repeat the layers again. Bake the dish, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Before serving, top with freshly diced tomato and shredded lettuce.
