[Category: Popular Best 1st Place] The key is the heat control! You can easily make crispy, juicy, and delicious karaage. Perfect for a picnic lunchbox too. The origin of this recipe My mother's karaage was so delicious that I wanted to share it as a recipe! The trick was in adjusting the heat!!

Ingredients
Instructions
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate with the ● ingredients. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Occasionally turn the meat while marinating.
Remove from the refrigerator and coat the chicken thoroughly with a special flour mixture of all-purpose flour and potato starch.
Pour oil into a pot and heat it. Add a little of the special flour mixture; when it sizzles and floats, add the chicken. Fry on medium-low heat for 1 1/2 minutes on one side.
Turn the chicken over and fry for 1 minute. Once the whole piece is colored, turn the heat to high and fry for another 30-40 seconds, turning occasionally. It's ready when the sound changes and fine bubbles appear!
Drain the oil well using paper towels and serve on a plate. Add some fried potatoes as a side if desired.
☆ The marinated meat can be frozen for later use, not just for karaage but also for sautéing or as a lunchbox side dish!
☆ Frying burdock root with the karaage makes a perfect lunchbox item too!
