Add 1 1/2 pounds of cooked, shredded chicken to a large skillet or pan and pour in 3/4 cup of hot pepper sauce. Stir to combine and heat on medium until warmed through.
Cut the cream cheese into chunks and add the 2 blocks along with 1 cup of Ranch dressing to the skillet. Stir continuously over medium-low heat until the cream cheese has fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
Turn off the heat and immediately add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheddar cheese melts completely, incorporating it evenly into the dip.
