Discover the secret to perfectly tender beef brisket that falls apart with just your fork! This slow-cooked method transforms tough brisket into melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

Ingredients
Instructions
Trim excess fat from the brisket, leaving about 1/4 inch of fat cap. Mix all dry spices in a bowl to create your rub. Pat the brisket dry with paper towels and apply the spice mixture generously on all sides.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket for 3-4 minutes on each side until a rich brown crust forms.
Place sliced onions at the bottom of your slow cooker or Dutch oven. Position the seared brisket on top, fat side up.
Combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl. Pour around the brisket to maintain the spice crust.
For slow cooker: Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. For oven: Cover tightly with foil and cook at 250°F for 5-6 hours until internal temperature reaches 195-205°F.
Transfer the brisket to a cutting board and tent loosely with foil. Rest for 30 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
Slice brisket against the grain into 1/4 inch slices. Serve with the reduced cooking liquid.
