Focaccia Sandwich: the tasty sandwich recipe packed with flavor
This focaccia sandwich is just what you need. With a light texture, the focaccia is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, while the cream cheese adds creaminess.

In a bowl, add the extra virgin olive oil, milk, sugar, and fresh yeast and mix until the sugar and yeast dissolve.
In another bowl, add the flour.
Gradually add the yeast mixture.
Mix with the electric mixer until the dough is created. Add the salt and mix again.
Transfer the dough to the pan covered with parchment paper, and flatten it with a spatula.
Allow the dough to rise for two hours, or until doubled in volume.
Once the focaccia dough has risen, brush the focaccia with the oil and sprinkle the sesame seeds.
Bake in the oven at 180°C/360°F for 35 minutes.
Use a sharp bread knife to slice the focaccia in half. Spread the bottom slice with cream cheese. Place the ham and salad leaves on top of the cream cheese, and season with olive oil and salt.
Cut the focaccia into squares and serve. Enjoy!
