Chicken Divan
Classic Chicken Divan baked in a creamy cheddar cheese sauce with tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and a crispy Parmesan topping. A cozy, comforting casserole perfect for any night of the week.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Cook chicken until done and cut into bite-sized pieces. Lightly steam broccoli and set aside.
In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly.
Stir in flour to form a roux. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and cream. Simmer until thickened.
Stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
Layer broccoli and chicken in baking dish. Pour cheese sauce over top.
Sprinkle with Parmesan and breadcrumbs if using.
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let rest before serving.
