My grilled hot dogs use a spiral cutting method to get crispy edges while still staying juicy, smoky, and savory. They're easy to make for BBQs and all summer long!

Ingredients
Instructions
Set up a two-zone gas grill or charcoal grill and allow the hot side to preheat to a medium-high temperature of 400-450F. Keep the other side off.
Insert a skewer into the center of the hot dogs lengthwise. Then using a sharp knife, rotate the hot dog in your hand while cutting a continuous spiral pattern down around the entire hot dog.
Place the hot dogs on the hot side of the grill and let them cook for 2-3 minutes. Then move them to the cold side of the grill and let them cook just 1-2 minutes more.
Carefully remove the skewers. They will be hot. Place each spiral hot dog into a bun and then add your favorite toppings.
