Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C). This low temperature is crucial for breaking down the connective tissues in the beef ribs, ensuring tenderness.
In a large bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using. This marinade will infuse the ribs with flavor and help tenderize them.
Place the beef ribs in a large baking dish or roasting pan. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 4 hours. The low, slow cooking method allows the collagen in the meat to melt into gelatin, resulting in tender, juicy ribs.
After 4 hours, remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Baste the ribs with the cooking juices and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the surface.
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring moist, flavorful meat.
