If you’ve ever struggled with mushy, under-seasoned brussel sprouts from the oven or soggy, greasy ones from the stovetop, you’re probably wondering How to
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes, if your model recommends preheating.
Add the prepped, dried brussel sprouts to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss thoroughly until every sprout is evenly coated in oil and seasonings – this ensures even browning and flavor.
Place the sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. Do not overcrowd the basket: if the sprouts are piled on top of each other, air can’t circulate properly, leading to soggy, unevenly cooked sprouts. If you’re cooking a full pound, you may need to cook in two batches depending on your air fryer size.
Air fry for 12 minutes, then remove the basket and shake it vigorously to flip the sprouts. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the outer leaves are crispy and golden brown, and the stems are tender when pierced with a fork.
Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper if needed, then serve immediately while hot and crispy.
