This savory spicy cornbread is a balance of sweet, savory and spicy without being over the top.I use a cast iron skillet to get a golden brown crust on the bottom but you can easily use a 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan instead. Just melt the butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave and brush it all over the inside of the pan, the pour the batter into it and bake as directed.
