Best-Ever Strawberry Lemonade

Cut the ends from 5 of the lemons. Stand each cut lemon on a cut side, and cut peel and pith from lemons; discard peel and pith. Quarter each peeled lemon, and place in blender. Slice remaining 1 lemon, and reserve for garnish.

Place hulled strawberries, sugar, and 2 cups of the water in a blender with lemon quarters; blend on HIGH until almost fully pureed, 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pour through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher; discard solids. Stir in remaining 2 1/2 cups water.

Serve over ice, and garnish with reserved lemon slices, fresh mint, and additional strawberries.
