The Best Pepper Steak
A flavorful Asian-inspired dish featuring tender steak, crisp bell peppers, and a savory soy-based glaze. Served over a bed of white rice, this quick and easy meal is perfect for a weeknight dinner

Prepare the steak and vegetables by slicing them and setting them aside in separate dishes.
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper. Pour over the steak, then refrigerate until ready to use.
In another bowl, mix all the glaze ingredients and set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetables and cook for 3-5 minutes, until they begin to brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 5-7 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
Return the vegetables to the skillet, add the glaze, and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Serve hot over a bed of white rice.
