Try this comforting American classic: Funeral Potatoes. A cheesy hash brown casserole with cornflakes, soup, and loads of flavour. Perfect for potlucks, BBQs, or family gatherings.

Ingredients
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 175°C/350°F.
Brown off the onions in a pan with a drop of oil. When it’s nearly done add the garlic paste and cook for another minute or so. Then remove from the heat and add to a large mixing bowl.
In that mixing bowl, add the chicken and celery soups, sour cream, cheeses, mustard, butter and pepper. Mix well. Add more seasoning if required.
Then if needed, chop the hash browns into bite-size pieces and mix them in too.
Once mixed well, place in an oven dish. You can now make the topping...
Start by crushing the cornflakes and then mix them with the melted butter. Place on top of the potato mix and cook in the oven for an hour, or until golden and crunchy!
