Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
In a large bowl, toss 5 cups of mixed berries with 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and a pinch of salt until everything is coated well.
Spread the berry mix evenly in your baking dish.
In another bowl, stir together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup rolled oats, and 1 cup light brown sugar.
Add the 1/2 cup cold, diced unsalted butter into the dry mix along with 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (if using).
Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to work the butter into the oats and flour until it forms coarse crumbs.
Evenly sprinkle the topping over the berry layer in the dish.
Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes until the topping is golden and the berries are bubbly.
Let it cool slightly before serving, and enjoy it either warm or with a scoop of ice cream.
