Ingredients
Instructions
Prepare your grill Prepare your direct grill over 350 degrees. We used a Traeger Timberline XL with hickory pellets in this video, but honestly any flavor pellet would be fine for this hight heat cook.
Prepare the sloppy joe mixture
Add the oil to a heavy pan over medium heat. Cook the onion until translucent. Add in the garlic and tomato paste. Cook until fragragant which should take 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the ground beef and season with Meat Church Holy Cow. Cook until browned which will take 6 - 8 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, kethcup, apple cider vinegar and brown sugar. Simmer until slightly thickened. Set aside to cool a bit.
Stuff the peppers
Lay the bell peppers flat. Stuff with the homemade sloppy joe mixture.
Top with cheese.
Cook the peppers
Place the peppers directly on the grill grate.
Cook until tender which took 40 minutes in this video.
Remove the peppers from the grill, allow to cool and garnish.
Enjoy!
