The Long Island iced tea is a popular drink among Long Islanders as well as non-Long Islanders, but very few know how to make it correctly.

Fill a cocktail shaker with all the ingredients minus the coke and lemon. Add ice and shake.
Pour the drink from the cocktail shaker into two cups. Add splashes of coke for color or to taste and garnish with lemon wedges on the edge of the glass.
