Make classic Buckeyes Recipe: creamy peanut butter centers dipped in glossy chocolate for an easy, crowd-pleasing treat.

Instructions
### Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside. Gather your ingredients and have your tablespoon scoop, toothpicks, and mixing tools within reach so the process feels smooth rather than chaotic.
### Step 2: Cream the Butter and Peanut Butter
In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and creamy peanut butter using a hand mixer or stand mixer with the paddle attachment. Beat until the color lightens and the texture is silky and uniform. This creates a stable base for the confectioners sugar.
### Step 3: Add Vanilla, Salt, and Powdered Sugar
Mix in the vanilla extract and salt until combined. Then slowly add the confectioners sugar in about 1/3 cup increments, mixing well between additions. The mixture should thicken into a dough that can be rolled. If it is still too soft, add a little more powdered sugar until it holds.
### Step 4: Shape and Chill the Balls
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into tight balls with clean hands. Place each ball on the parchment-lined sheet, then insert a toothpick into the center of each ball. Refrigerate the tray for 15 minutes up to an hour. Chilling firms the centers so they hold together during dipping.
### Step 5: Melt Chocolate and Dip
Melt both types of chocolate chips together with the coconut oil in a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring frequently and ensuring the chocolate does not burn. Remove the peanut butter balls from the fridge and, holding onto the toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, leaving about 20 percent of the peanut center exposed to create the classic Buckeyes look.
### Step 6: Finish, Remove Toothpicks, and Store
Place the dipped Buckeyes back on the parchment until the chocolate sets. After they come back to room temperature, gently twist and remove toothpicks. Smooth any small holes with a finger or a dab of leftover peanut butter. Serve right away or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a firmer texture or at room temperature if you prefer them softer.
