Start by heating a non-stick, large skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Add 2 pounds of ground beef and cook, stirring occasionally, to break up the meat as it browns

Sauté chopped sweet onion along with green or red pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and the veggies are nice and tender

Add one can of chipotle in adobo sauce – chop up the chipotle and pour the entire can in! Then add in either a bottle of chili sauce or a cup of ketchup—choose based on what you have or how tangy you want it! The chili sauce brings amazing flavor, but go with what you love. Stir everything together and keep cooking over medium heat to let those flavors meld beautifully

Start by adding brown sugar, ground mustard, and garlic powder. Let it simmer for at least 15 minutes to meld those delicious flavors together

For the best experience, I recommend serving everything right at the table just before digging in. The longer the mixture sits on the buns, the soggier they’ll get! To help keep them nice and crispy, you can toast the buns in the oven for about 30 seconds before serving
